At the Mini Guy we are qualified to IMI Level 4 for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles, this is the highest qualification currently available for EV in the UK relating to electric vehicle repair and diagnostic capability.

With the high voltage battery being the single most expensive part of any electric Mini, knowing the battery state of health is really important. When selling an electric or hybrid Mini a SOH report can really help with getting a speedy sale and can give potential buyers a lot more confidence in the vehicle, on the other hand it can also give you peace of mind if you are looking to hold on to your Mini for the longer term.
Our battery state of health reports are very comprehensive and tell you how much of its original capacity your HV battery still has, how balanced the battery is (cell imbalance can seriously affect capacity), if there are any resistance or isolation issues and also if there are any stored codes in the battery pack electronics.
